Our story began during freshman year at Texas State University, where both of us lived in the San Jacinto dorms. We were both involved in Greek life, so our paths often crossed, and we exchanged friendly hellos in passing. However, after Maddie transferred to Texas A&M following our first year, we lost touch for the next four years.

Years later, Maddie returned to Houston after graduating in 2020, followed by Carson in 2021. Despite the years apart, we still had each other on social media, which led to us reconnecting. Carson eventually asked Maddie for her number, only to discover that she already had his saved… as “Carson Pioterek Kappa Sig Pledge” from freshman year. LOL

Our first date sparked an undeniable connection, and after our second date only two days later, we both knew what we had was special. The rest was history! We feel incredibly fortunate that our paths crossed again after all these years, thanks to God’s perfect timing. We are so incredibly excited about our future together!
